Order How To Get Naked

Fitting Page

Once you are ready to have me design your new naked frame or bicyle I will need some measurements to get you the best possible fit. How much detail I need on the order form will depend on your situation.

I Know What I Want

If you already know exactly what you want for a frame or frame and fork simply send me all the basic frame fit numbers which may include but are not limited to:

  • Top-tube length
  • seat-tube length
  • seat-tube angle
  • headtube angle and fork rake if having a custom fork built

If ordering a complete bike than you also need to know most of the component sizes such as
Stem length, crank length, chainring and cogsizes, tire size, etc as well as any extra component needs such as fenders, racks or computers and lights.

On the order form I really only need basic contact information and anything else that seems relevant.

If you choose this option I will deduct $50 from the overall price as it saves me quite a bit of fitting and design time.

I Know What I Don’t Want

If you have a bike that is the wrong size but you have managed to get the seat and handlebars in the right spot or very close with a series of compromises, than you can skip the body measurement portion of the order form. This is true of 90% of experienced cyclists. It requires you to take some basic position measurements as well as some basic frame measurements and send them along with any comments such as “I can’t get the bars low enough” or “I have the longest stem I can get but I’m still too bunched up”. I will take this information and design a frame or full bicycle that correctly balances frame and components with your desired fit.

I Don’t Know What I Want But I Know What I Have

This is the most complicated situation but the one I deal with the most often. Fill out the entire order form and I will check your current position as it relates to your body proportions and riding style. Obviously this is best done in person but is often not practical. I will analyze your hypothetical ideal position and compare it with your current set-up and suggest a new position accomplished with your new frame or complete bike.

I Have No Idea What I Need

If you are new to cycling or have not ridden in quite some time fill out the order form as best you can. It is best to do a bike fit like this in person but this form has a fairly easy to follow set of instructions to take measurements of your body measurements. From this I can design a frame or complete bike optimized for your proportions and desired riding style. Feel free to contact me at any time to help you through the process.
