Shimano Alfine Show bike 2008 Just Cruis'n

After the success of NAHBS earlier this year, I was approached by Shimano to build them a bike to show off their elegant City Group; Alfine. I was given a blank slate, as long as it was white! Here are the results of some late hours.

This bike is for sale or may be given as a prize in the spring.

Here is what Ben from Shimano had to report about the bike at the Montreal BTAC show:

"Your bike was a HUGE hit. I mean, WOW, that thing is awesome. The rack, the stem w/ integrated light, the branch motif. Everyone was very impressed. The brochures you gave us were gone in under 2 hours. There were people all over the show floor talking about your Bike. These pictures are a pretty good representation of the kind of crowd that was circling your bike for most of the 3 days."
